Britney Spears in Psych Ward (Again)

Britney Spears has been admitted to the psychiatric ward of UCLA Medical Center and placed on a 72-hour hold. The pop star was taken by ambulance from her home at around 1 o'clock in the morning. Following the ambulance was a convoy of cars holding her mother Lynne, boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, manager Sam Lufti, and cousin Alli Sims.

According to several sources, Britney is considered to be a danger to herself, suffering from insomnia, mood swings, and erratic behavior. She will be under observation for 3 days, after which time she may either be released or committed for a longer period.

Paris Going Lesbian?

Paris Hilton has visited a L.A. lesbian bar twice this month, and has been spotted kissing actress Elisha Cuthbert of TV show 24.

Hilton and Cuthbert were seen at Manhattan nightclub Tenjune, “all over each other and making out” according to US Weekly. They arrived separately, but left together--hand-in hand--at 5a.m. The two co-starred in the 2005 film House of Wax.

I guess it was only a matter of time before Paris ran out of men to kiss. Look for Lindsay and Britney to follow suit in the coming months.

Britney Seeing a Shrink

Britney Spears' manager, Sam Lufti, spoke with Barbara Walters and told her that Britney was being treated by a psychiatrist. Lufti said the pop singer has “mental issues which are treatable.”

Spears is reported to be suffering from mood swings and insomnia, no surprise to anyone who's been following her recent behavior. Walters also revealed that Spears was back in contact with her mother, who recently arrived in L.A.

Lindsay Lohan Hooking Up With Jenner?

In yet another example of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan recycling one another's exes, Lindsay Lohan has been spotted getting close to Brody Jenner. Back on New Year's Eve, a photo was taken of Paris kissing a man who resembles Jenner.

Now, Jenner has been seen in a liplock with Lindsay Lohan. According to one witness who saw them at Beatrice Inn in Manhattan, they were "all over each other."

A source told People magazine: "She likes him. It’s early, but they are more than friends. He seems to like her back. They're actually sweet together, it would be nice if she kept him around."

Unfortunately, it's more likely that he'll treat her like he did Paris, by denying that they were ever more than friends. He is rumored to be dating model Cora Skinner.

Lindsay Lohan Broke, Writing Memoirs

According to several news reports, Lindsay Lohan is set to pen her memoirs. The 21-year-old actress has reportedly made over $7 million from her various films, but has apparently blown it all on drugs, alcohol, wrecked vehicles, rehab, and legal fees.

She has already sold her apartments in New York and Los Angeles because she couldn't make the mortgage payments. Several sources suggest she is openly asking friends for handouts because she's so broke.

Her next planned move is to write an autobiography about her wild child times, much like Drew Barrymore's Little Girl Lost.

Britney's Erratic Behavior Scares Elementary School

Pop star Britney Spears has allegedly scared children at a Los Angeles school by causing a scene there. According to the San Francisco Gate newspaper, Spears went to the school and said she was there to pick up her children. Spears' children are aged 2 and 1 and do not attend school yet.

After awhile, Britney changed her story and then said she was there to pick up her lawyer's children. She was eventually escorted out the school's back entrance and driven away.

Amy Winehouse Agrees To Rehab

Singer Amy Winehouse has finally given into pressure from those nearest her to enter a drug rehab program.

An Associated Press story quotes her record label's statement, "Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors...she has come to understand that she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction."

Winehouse has been in rehab before, last August. She was arrested for marijuana possession in Norway the following month.

Her decision comes on the heels of a video released by the UK's The Sun magazine, which appears to show her on a drug binge.

Paris Sets Her Sights On Football

Perhaps inspired by Jessica Simpson's controversial relationship with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Paris Hilton was recently spotted swapping digits with Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens.

According to a Dallas Morning News report, Paris was attending the Dallas premiere of her new movie, The Hottie and the Nottie, and met Owens at an afterparty.

Jessica Simpson Dumped By Romo

According to a report in the New York Daily News, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has dumped Jessica Simpson.

After the Cowboys recently suffered a rash of losses, fans blamed Simpson, saying she was unlucky and distracting. A friend of Romo's told OK! Magazine, "Tony is now starting to blame her himself. Before dating Jessica, he was Texas' golden boy. Now he's become a joke."

And a friend of Simpson's has said, "he thought it was better if they went back to being friends."

Britney Flakes Again, Still No Custody

Britney Spears failed to make it into the courtroom again yesterday, and custody proceedings went on without her, with no change in her lack of visitation or custodial rights.

Spears did arrive at the courthouse building on time, however she left the building without ever entering the courtroom. Spears was represented by her lawyer in the closed-door hearing.

Winehouse Visits Outpatient Rehab in Wake of Video

British singer Amy Winehouse has been seen visiting an outpatient rehab clinic in London, in the wake of a highly-publicized video showing her apparent drug use.

According to the London Times, the singer stayed two hours at Edwards House yesterday. The clinic is an outpatient department of the Capio Nightingale hospital, which is known for its drug rehabilitation program.

Winehouse's rep, however, insisted: "Amy has not been admitted into rehab. She has regular appointments with a doctor at the Nightingale Hospital."

Lohan "Devastated" over Ledger's Death

Lindsay Lohan is apparently "devastated" over the death of actor Heath Ledger, 28, yesterday. TMZ reports that she was seen sobbing outside La Scala after hearing the news. The two actors were "very close" for a time.

Paris Hilton-Jared Leto Hookup?

At a recent Sundance Film Festival party, Paris Hilton was seen kissing actor Jared Leto. Leto is an ex of Paris' on-off friend Lindsay Lohan. According to pagesix.com, the two have been 'play-dates' since Paris was 16 years old.

Another source told the NY Post that "Paris kept bothering Jared during the Camp Freddy concert at Village at the Yard. Then she attacked him at Hyde nightclub, giving him lap dances and kissing him."

He doesn't appear to be protesting much in this photo.

Amy Winehouse Video: Smoking Crack, Snorting Powder

A video surfaced today on thesun.co.uk showing what appears to be Amy Winehouse snorting cocaine and ecstasy and smoking crack from a glass pipe. In the video, Winehouse also reportedly says that she just took 6 Valium.

The video was apparently shot on Friday, early in the morning before she went to court to support her jailbird husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, at a bail hearing. Winehouse's behavior in the courthouse was erratic and the singer looked unhealthy and emaciated.

According to BBC News, Winehouse's record company reacted to the video by saying, ""We are deeply disappointed and upset by these latest revelations and are doing everything we can to offer Amy our full support in dealing with her problems."

Speaking of looking up skirts, Nicole Richie reportedly watched herself give birth using a mirror in the delivery room.

According to a report in Star magazine, "A nurse handed Nicole a mirror so she could see the birth. At first she was too afraid, but she watched during the final few pushes."

A photographer was recently caught sneaking a shot up Jessica Alba's skirt while she was walking down the street.

The photo, shown here, clearly depicts a paparazzo kneeling on the street and aiming his camera up the mom-to-be's skirt.

Britney Getting Wise to Adnan?

Two reports today suggest that Britney Spears, with the help of her manager, Sam Lufti, may be shucking off paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.

Lufti reportedly showed reporters from X17online.com a copy of a restraining order she had taken out against Ghalib.

Meanwhile, Britney invited a couple of other paparazzi into her home last night, and questioned them about Adnan, reports pagesix.com.

Brody Jenner Denies Kissing Paris

Reality TV star Brody Jenner has issued an emphatic denial that he kissed Paris Hilton on New Year's Eve. Despite a photograph that shows Hilton kissing someone resembling Jenner, he says it wasn't him.

"I swear to God I've never kissed Paris ever in my life. We're friends but never, never ever, ever was it a romantic thing, ever," he told People Magazine. That's a lot of never evers.

Madden and Richie Disagree on Godmother

Recent reports suggest that Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden are having trouble deciding who their newborn daughter's godmother should be.

Richie is pushing for Paris Hilton as godmother, while Madden wants his twin brother's fiancee, Australian model/actress Sophie Monk.

Lindsay Lohan Visits Morgue

As part of her plea agreement for last year's drunk-driving offense, actress Lindsay Lohan is working for two days in a morgue.

Previously she has done other community service and spent two months in rehab as part of the same plea bargain. She will also have to spend two days working in a hospital ER.

Lohan pled guilty to drunk driving and cocaine possession last August.

Lily Allen Miscarriage

Singer Lily Allen, who announced in December that she was pregnant, has suffered a miscarriage, according to an AP report.

Her rep said, "She and her partner, Ed Simons, will be making no further comment and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time."

Winehouse Lashes Out at Paparazzi

British chanteuse Amy Winehouse reportedly took a swing at a paparazzi photographer who was bothering her while she stopped to buy a newspaper.

Winehouse was on her way back from visiting jailbird husband Blake Fielder-Civil, amidst recent reports that their marriage is on the rocks and that they may divorce. Under British law, the pair cannot divorce until they've been married for a full year, so they'll have to stay married until at least May.

Oops, I'm Pregnant Again?

Britney Spears and paparazzo love Adnan Ghalib have been photographed shopping for pregnancy tests this past Sunday. And on Tuesday, Britney was flashing a huge diamond ring on her ring finger, suggesting she may now be engaged to Ghalib.

In other recent Britney news, the pop singer was apparently seen leaving the dressing room of a store in LA...completely nude, having gone into the dressing room with Ghalib. According to a Fox News story, a store employee said, "I was blown away. Britney's private parts were right in front of me! She screamed, 'Get away from me! Don't you [bleep]ing come near me!' ... Then she disappeared in the dressing room with Adnan for 45 minutes. They were making weird noises. It was disgusting."

Britney Suicidal? Bipolar?

Several reports have emerged shedding more light on what happened at the January 3rd situation at Britney Spears's home involving police--as well as what she's up to now.

One report mentions suicidal depression, bipolar disorder, and multiple personality disorder all in the same story. The same story also says that a suicide note was found in her bathroom after she was taken away to a psychiatric ward on the 3rd. An 'insider' quoted in that report says, "The letter was very sad. Britney talked about her loneliness, how unfair life is and not being able to trust people."

The second report suggests that Spears may have missed Monday's custody hearing because she was at home waiting for furniture to be delivered. According to the report, Britney arrived late to the courthouse, then decided not to go into the courtroom at all, and left shortly after arriving.

Britney a No-Show at Custody Hearing

The Associated Press is reporting that Britney Spears failed to show up at all for today's court hearing to determine the future of her custody status with her children.

If she had attended the hearing, she would likely have had to testify about the bizarre events of January 3rd, and had a chance to plead her case for custodial rights or at least visitation rights. Since the incident at her home on January 3rd, she has had neither.

Lindsay Lohan Dating Hilton Ex

Lindsay Lohan has, according to several media sources, been secretly dating Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend, Adrian Grenier, for a month now. Grenier, an actor, is best known for his work on HBO's Entourage.

Grenier and Hilton were linked romantically last year, though both insisted it was just a friendship.

It's unknown what Hilton think of the match, but if Lohan was restricted only to men Paris hadn't dated, she'd be running out of options.

While Hubby's in Jail, Amy Finds New Male

British singer Amy Winehouse is reportedly dating one of her music producers, Mark Ronson. Her husband, Blake Fielder-Civill, is in jail on a count of perverting the course of justice.

According to reports in British publications, Winehouse and Ronson got a hotel room together after a late-night recording session. They bought alcohol and ice cream before settling in for the night.

Duff Denies Lip-Synching

After allegations that she was lip-synching at a concert in Mexico last weekend, Hilary Duff's people are saying that there was no lip-synching. Instead, they say, Duff was singing, but her microphone was muted. That is why they say there was no sound.

Britney Plans New Marriage and Conversion to Islam

As if everything else weren't enough, former teen pop idol Britney Spears is reportedly planning to marry her latest boyfriend, photographer Adnan Ghalib.

Ghalib, a British-born Muslim, is already married. But his divorce isn't the only obstacle standing in the way of Britney's twice-wedded bliss. Because he comes from a devout family, sources speculate that Britney would have to covert to Islam before marriage. According to friends, she has expressed an interest in doing just that. She reportedly believes that remarrying will help her get her children back.

Meanwhile, a hearing to determine whether the revocation of Britney's custody will stand, is set for Monday.

Miley Cyrus Not Feeling the Christmas Spirit

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus has, according to a report from tabloid Star Magazine, tried to return a Christmas gift for cash.

The 15-year-old Disney star received a $14,000 diamond necklace from the Disney record label for Christmas. According to the report, she thought she should have gotten something more expensive, and tried (unsuccessfully) to return the necklace to jeweler Chopard in Beverly Hills.

New Babies for Xtina and Nicole Richie

Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie are both new mothers.

27-year-old Aguilera and 26-year-old Richie gave birth only moments apart on Friday afternoon around 4 pm, both at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Aguilera had a scheduled Caesarean section and it is believed that Richie gave birth naturally.

Christina and her son, whose name and birth weight have not yet been released, are said to be doing well. This is the pop singer's first child with husband Jordan Bratman.

Nicole and boyfriend Joel Madden had a healthy baby girl, weighing in at 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Reports say they have named their daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden.
